1. Pomfrey’s Pepperup Potion: Madame Pomfrey is famous for her home-brewed remedies. She has just hired YOU to help her develop and market her products. Choose one of the options below for your first task as her assistant.

  • Invent a potion: Madame Pomfrey has asked you to choose a common ailment and develop a new remedy for it. Download the Invent-a-Potion sheet for the details.

  • Sell it! Madame Pomfrey wants to sell her Pepperup Potion to other schools. Create a print or video ad that she can use to convince her fellow school-nurses to buy her product.

2. Kwikspell: Harry discovers Filch’s Kwikspell letter, which claims to help even the worst wizards achieve results. Included are several testimonials by witches and wizards who claim that the Kwikspell course helped them. Read their testimonials, then imagine you are a wizard who has tried the course and write a testimonial.

3. Happy Deathday! Nearly Headless Nick plans quite a party to celebrate his 500th deathday. Choose one of the activities below:

  • You’re Invited: design an invitation to Nearly Headless Nick’s deathday party

  • Deathday Menu: create a menu of the food Nearly Headless Nick is serving.

  • Deathday Diorama: make a shoebox diorama depicting the deathday party
